the 5Th Horseman
I Was the VFX supervisor on the short film "The 5Th Horseman" between 2011-2012.the movie is currently nominated for an Emmy and is running the festival circuit so I cannot at this time post the movie, instead, here's one of the many VFX shots I was responsible for on the film.

Bonfire Logo Animation.
so the challenge at work for the past few weeks among the creatives was to come up with a new Logo animation for our company. many of us did so, this is my attempt. I did this in the very little spare time i had between projects - and its my first actual project using Cinema 4D, so theres a learning curve. That being said, im quite happy with the outcome.

Playing with particle systems within Cinema 4D.
Inspired by Close-up images of skin tissue taken with an electron microscope, I created these mostly for fun inside Cinema 4D to try and push the particle systems to its max. These are made using the XParticles plugin for cinema 4D. I'll add more pictures soon.
On the Road
Drove from San Francisco to Las Vegas and took a few pictures through the car window.
Yammer Pitch
Boards from a project I pitched to Yammer. We won the account but hte only thing that made it to the final piece was the tree sprout. I'll upload the final piece at one point.
My idea was to combine 3D with Kinetic Type. The final piece ended up being full 3D.
Doritos is Back! and with it came Fluffy the cat
it's that time of the year again.. every creative mind in america tries out for the annual Crash the Superbowl competition. Sponsored by Doritos. in short, make a doritos commercial, win 1 million Dollars, and a chance to work with Michael Bay.. with a few caviots im not going to bore people with.
this year I teamed up with my director friends Francisco Guijarro and Martin Rosete and after a few days of hard work, we ended up with what you see below.
The concept behind this years spot is a reply to last years competition winner "Mans Best Friend" in which, fluffy the cat gets buried by the dog. This year Fluffy gets his revenge.
If you watch till the end I made a VFX breakdown which I rarely do, but thought this one called for it.

The New Playstation Store
For the past years, I've been doing a lot of work for Sony.. many projects of all sorts. Mainly based in the UI/UX side of things. Remember the Sony Experia phone that came out few years back? it was extremely popular in Europe? no ? there's actually a current version out which is supposed to be very good.. anyways, that was my first encounter with Sony computer Entertainment of America. For this latest installment of the Sony Saga, the guys at Sony did the Main UI Layout design frames for the new PlayStation Store, at Bonfire I then designed the Highlights, Elevator Menus and Navigation Animation for the UI. Unfortunately, most of the Sony projects we work on is shh shh, Fortunately, this one can be shown publicly so here you go world.
